Ms. Guyader has over nineteen years experience teaching literature and composition to diverse student populations. Although a proponent of sound basics, she has sought to continually develop her students’ skills by staying current with contemporary rhetoric and composition theories and the increasing role that a larger global perspective plays in students’ lives. Ms. Guyader has developed and implemented curriculum and instruction which includes traditional instructional delivery, student-led instruction, discovery learning, and cooperative and distance learning, at both the secondary and community college levels. She has also been an instructor in learning communities and has served as an evaluator of high school teachers and adjunct college faculty. She holds a B.A. in English with a minor in Art, a Post-Baccalaureate in English Education, and a Master of Education degree. Ms. Guyader is qualified to teach in English, Art, and Communications.
